queen victoria's bow brooch Replica
Queen Victoria commissioned Garrards to make a trio of bow brooches for her in 1858 with diamonds she had in her own possession. Upon her death 1901, these brooches were left to the crown, and so have passed on from Queen to Queen ever since.
Queen Elizabeth II is regularly seen wearing these brooches. She wore the bow brooch when she became the longest reigning monarch in history this year. She has also been seen wearing the bow brooch as a sash pin on more formal occasions.
