Queen Mary’s Rose of York
A little bit of history
When Princess May of Teck married the Duke of York in 1893, she was given a number of jewels in the shape of the rose of York. One present, a ruby and diamond pendant with a square ruby centre was given to her by the Duke himself.
Queen Mary gave it Princess Elizabeth in 1947 as a wedding gift. The pendant was set as a centrepiece of a bracelet with bands of ruby and diamond leaves on either side.
Our replica bracelet is made as near as possible to the original.
